Hello. First let me welcome you to this course.  Since you’re here, I’m assuming you are ready to learn to market your products.  That may be your blog or your books.  Either way, my hope is that you will take the lessons in this course and learn to build a foundation for all of your marketing.

If you are just starting out, know that this will not all happen overnight, but you can learn it.  When you begin putting the pieces I will show you together, you will build a marketing strategy without spending loads of time going down fruitless paths.

These lessons are designed to do one at a time for about 15 minutes each.  Feel free to take them at your own pace.  The overall goal is to make you a better marketer so you can boost your sales and help others in the group do the same.

So, let’s get started!

The Fundamentals of Marketing

Today you will read two short articles.

The first will explain the two overriding methods of marketing.

The second will give you some understanding of marketing on the social media.

Please read these two so that as we go, I can use terms from them and you will know what I’m talking about.

The first article:  Are you PUSHING or PULLING?

The second article:  Double Your Sales in a Month

The goal for today is just to start thinking about marketing. So read these and begin to think about what you want your marketing plan to look like.
